Important information

People, wildlife, and trees are important parts of the Eagle Creek Community Forest

Important: How to be a welcome visitor to the Community Forest!

People

The community forest depends on people to help guide future actions

An advisory committee is helping Clackamas SWCD choose future actions

Wildlife

The property and neighboring parcels are a home for many species of wildlife

Walkers should be aware that we have sighted several large predators

Forest

The ECCF is a working forest so occasional timber harvests will occur

People and wildlife are able to use areas not being actively harvested

Advisory Committee

The Eagle Creek Community Forest Advisory Committee was created to help the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District develop a Community Forest Plan.  Private landowners and representatives of several agencies are included.

Community Forest Plan

A Community Forest Plan is a tract specific plan that guides the management and use of a community forest, and was developed with community involvement.
