Apex predators captured on camera!

In April, we placed five trail cameras on the Eagle Creek Community Forest property. Three weeks later we pulled the memory cards to see if we captured any images of wildlife.

We expected to see coyote, deer, and elk.  But imagine our surprise to find images of a bobcat, mountain lion, and black bear!

Caution!

Our cameras also caught pictures of lone humans walking along the haul road through the property.  We want to caution anyone that walks the road to realize that large animals may be present.  You may look like food or like a threat to some of those animals.

We ask that you please be very cautious when walking the road.  Walking with a buddy is highly recommended.

If you do see wildlife, we’d appreciate hearing about it!  We have started a wildlife spreadsheet and would love to add your sightings to it.
